Survival of the Fittest: Discovering, Selecting, and Developing the Stars of Tomorrow in the Tough Business of International Football

Meeting the challenges of demographic realities in a rapidly changing world.  Talent Management today: Selection, Succession and Progression Management in a highly competitive cross cultural environment.  Exemplified by international competitive sports (football): Assessment Centres and testing methods used to build career development paths and successor management programs for future football stars. This presentation will show how assessment centres were used in a professional football program to detect football talents all over the world, integrate lone fighters into a team, integrate different cultures and build one team, build skills and abilities needed in a team, match talent, abilities, skills and roles, mentor coaching and key contacts, deal with economic realities and discuss areas of conflicts.

Graziosa M. Alge is President of Alge Consulting Ltd, a management consulting firm focusing on personnel and organization development for public and private sector organizations and sports teams.  She is an expert on personality assessment, personal and organizational effectiveness and has introduced or improved the assessment technology for leading global companies. 

 Before she founded her own company she worked for different organizations as a consultant and cooperation and communication trainer.  She has more than 12 years of experience in training and developing people. 

Additional expertise includes individual development and counseling, selecting, coaching, and developing high performing teams, and the design of management development programs.  Studies in Sociology, Economics and Informatics at Zurich University.
