Berney-Chardon is Head of Workforce Research & Analysis at UBS and
focuses on the design and delivery of consolidated HR metrics across
business functions and regions, linking selection and assessment,
performance management and employee survey data. The metrics support the
measurement of HR process effectiveness and inform strategic decision
making. Recent work included prediction of employee performance by UBS
selection methods and drivers of employee engagement and performance.
Caroline completed her Master in Geography before joining UBS in London, where she completed a further Master in Human Resources Management. She worked for UBS Global Wealth Management function as an HR specialist with specific focus on HR strategic reporting, performance management and job profile design, before she joined the Group HR function.

Halls is Group Head of Assessment Services at UBS with responsibility
for designing, implementing and evaluating assessment initiatives to
support the Bank’s global talent management strategy. Recent assignments have included the design of international
assessment programmes in Asia-Pacific and India to support UBS growth
and offshoring strategies.
An
MBA-qualified Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Simon has worked with
many of the world’s leading financial services organisations,
including American Express, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays
Capital. He is a regular presenter at HR conferences and seminars, and a
contributor to publications such as The Occupational Psychologist and
Croner’s HR Briefing.
