Evaluating CEO Performance: Insights Across Cultures
This presentation will describe a unique research project that evaluated the performance of CEO's of leading Asian corporations. Participants in this study were selected to reflect market-leading companies based in Asia. The performance model for Asian CEOs will be reviewed and data collected directly from CEOs in this challenging leadership environment will be shared. Comparisons will be drawn between CEOs in different Asian cultures and with senior executives operating in non-Asian countries.

Doug Reynolds, Ph.D.
Development Dimensions International
Doug Reynolds is the Vice President of Assessment Technology for Development Dimensions International (DDI). Doug’s department is focused on the design and implementation of new behavioral and psychological assessments used for workforce selection and career development. He has designed and implemented large-scale assessments and tests with many Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, General Motors, Pfizer, Wal-Mart, and several federal agencies. In the 1990s, Doug designed and developed some of the first Internet-based job application and qualification screening instruments used for large-scale corporate recruiting. More recently, his work has focused on the creation and deployment of Internet–based behavioral simulations used for executive and leadership evaluation. Doug also has served as an expert witness regarding personnel selection practices, and he has published and presented frequently on topics related to the automation of testing and assessment for HR applications. Doug received his Ph.D. in 1989 from Colorado State University.
