A Digital Portfolio to Support Learning and Development

Alverno College’s Digital Diagnostic Portfolio is a web-based tool that builds on its educational practices and emphasizes individual learning. It provides (a) a cumulative record of performance analyses, (b) support for individual reflection, and (c) an additional venue for faculty mentoring. In practice, the portfolio represents a continued exploration of themes from the Assessment Center method and a unique contribution for individual development in educational and professional contexts.
